More Fall flowers.

Even though the snow is just 15 miles up the road from here, there are still a lot of flowers left among the fall colors. I shot this hibiscus on November 22, the same day I shot all the fall leaves I've been posting this week.

Missed a day. Rats. Oh, well, life happens.
Shot these during the day playing around with a single flash.

I often like to convert flower shots to b&w. They're uncommon, and help draw attention to the delicate textures and patterns that color so often overwhelms. This backlit Day Lily was nice, but kind of ho-hum, in color. I like it better this way.

Study in pink. Alyssium growing around the pond in the back yard.

Day lilys in the sprinkler. I like how the water droplets are picking up the colors of the flowers below them.

It was just another flower picture in color, but in black and white it's one of my favorites.
