Mark (blackstrat) > August 15,2008. Dylan and Chance were very proud of their new Easter clothes. When I got out the camera, Dylan, who'd obviously been checking out Gentleman's Quarterly, immediately started doing all these hysterical fashion model poses. I took about 20 shots of them during the few moments I could stop laughing, and he's got a different pose in every one. These two cousins are both four and they're absolutely bosom buddies. When they're together, it's impossible to take a picture of one of them. They're inseparable.

Mark (blackstrat) > August 13, 2008. Norm's Glass Truck. A friend and I were on a photo drive around the Sutter Buttes last year when we spotted "Norm's Glass Truck" sitting right by the road next to a row of mailboxes. I've been down that road many times, but I don't remember ever seeing the truck before. We both fell in love with the poor old thing and spent about half an hour shooting it from every angle. I'm not sure why I like it so much. Other people either fall in love with it, too, or say "Why'd you take a picture of that ugly old thing?" I guess I'd just like to think that when I'm weak at the knees and blind in one eye and sitting by the side of the road, someone will still find something of value in me, too.
